Shine on Creative only use high quality hypo allergenic water activated cosmetic grade face paints. They are suitable for sensitive skin. If you have any concerns at all we are more than happy to do a small test patch on the day. We also use cosmetic grade glitter only for stress free sparkle.
What are your hygiene ethics?
We always adhere to strict hygiene ethics.
We believe a clean canvas is one of the most important things about painting and so we try to clean each face with a sensitive skin baby wipe before starting. We only use one sponge per child, keep our brush water clean and use cotton buds for painting on the lips. **All our products are well sanitized and sterilized after each event.
**Please note under no circumstances do we paint over sores, rashes, or broken skin.
Can other parts of the body be painted instead of the face?
Yes, if someone doesn’t want or cannot have their faces painted then we usually do the hands or the arms. The whole body is really like a blank canvas that can be painted on.My child has eczema, can he/she be painted?
I usually will not paint any person with any dermatological condition unless parent or carer knows that no harm will come to them and takes responsibility. My child has a cold, can he/she be painted?
For OHS reasons we will refuse to paint children who have a virus or shows signs of any other contagions. -

What we bring
We provide everything required for the activities included in your party package:
Games & Music: We bring our own Bluetooth speakers. A spare speaker is always appreciated as a backup for technical emergencies.
Face Painting: We bring a table and high chair for the artist. If you already have a suitable table available, that is also welcomed.
Outdoor Parties:
Please ensure a sheltered area is available for face painting. If not, we can bring one for an additional fee. Painting will not begin until a safe, shaded area is arranged — sun safety is our priority.
Giant Bubble Show: A safe, open space is required. The show cannot take place in the rain, as wet conditions ruin the bubbles and affect performance.
How to help the day run smoothly
A few simple preparations make a big difference:
Parking: If possible, reserve a convenient parking spot for the artist to unload equipment easily.
Hydration: Please have water available for the artist throughout the event.
Timing: We may have multiple parties in one day, so we cannot extend beyond the allotted time.
Food & Hygiene: If food or cake will be served during face painting, please discuss arrangements in advance to ensure hygiene and timing considerations.
Games & Seating: For games or group activities, a rug or blanket for the children to sit on is always appreciated.
By following these steps, you help us create a safe, fun, and stress-free
