Rythm Beats & Voice
KIDS
"Noise Makers"
🥁 Ages 3–12 · Loud · Joyful · No instruments required (we make them)
Turns out you don't need a piano or ten years of lessons to make music — you just need a body, a beat, and absolutely zero inhibitions. Noise Makers is a hands-on rhythm workshop where kids explore music through clapping, stomping, body percussion, improvised instruments, and the kind of collective noise that makes adults nervous in the best possible way. We build beats together, play call-and-response games, and discover that everyone — every single person in the room — has rhythm. It just sounds different for everyone, and that's exactly the point.
What they take away: A new relationship with sound, a beat they created themselves, and the unshakeable belief that they are absolutely, definitely musical.
ADULTS
"Everybody's Got Rhythm (Yes, Even You)"
🎵 All levels · Surprisingly therapeutic · Guaranteed to prove you wrong about yourself
You've been telling yourself you have no rhythm and no singing voice since 1997 and both of those things are simply not true. Everybody's Got Rhythm is a music, percussion, and yes — singing — workshop for adults who have spent decades convincing themselves they're the only person in the room who genuinely can't keep a beat or hold a note. Spoiler: you can. And the fastest way to find out is to do it in a room full of people who are equally terrified and willing to be ridiculous about it.
We start with rhythm — body percussion, call-and-response, group beats — and build into group singing games and exercises that get progressively sillier and louder. Here's the thing about singing badly in a group: the more committed everyone is, the better it actually sounds. And by the time you're fully invested in the chaos, the self-consciousness is just gone. That's not an accident. That's the whole point.
No musical ability required. No solos. No judgment. Just a room full of adults rediscovering that making noise together is one of the most joyful and connecting things a human being can do.
What they take away: A working beat, a voice they'd forgotten they had, and the specific kind of confidence that only comes from doing something terrifying in a safe room and surviving it.
PARENTS & KIDS
"The Family Band"
🎶 All ages · Chaotic · Musical · Genuinely moving
Every family has its own rhythm — this workshop just makes it audible. The Family Band is a shared music and percussion session where parents and children create beats, songs, and soundscapes together using their bodies, found objects, and simple percussion instruments. We play games, build on each other's rhythms, and work toward a group performance that is part composition, part beautiful chaos, and entirely theirs. There is something genuinely profound about making music with someone you love, even when neither of you knows what you're doing.
What they take away: A piece of music they made together, a new way of listening to each other, and at least one rhythm they'll tap out on the dinner table for weeks.
